Hello! I am Xiaoke, a PhD student in Management Information Systems at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Gene Moo Lee and Prof. Mi Zhou.

I study AI in creation through two interrelated streams: (i) understanding the incentives and consequences of generative AI adoption in creative workflows; and (ii) designing policy interventions and effective systems to govern its use in creation.

I apply mixed methods in my research, with a particular focus on multimodal data analysis, causal inference, randomized experiments, and system design.
